In the year 1950, Late Raja Bankatlal Badrukaji during a meeting with Sri Pannalal Pittie and others mooted the proposal for establishing a Commerce College in Hindi Medium.

Nawab Ali Yawar Jung Bahadur, the then Vice - Chancellor of
Osmania University,Hyderabad appreciated the initiative to start a commerce college. He suggested that the college be started in English and Urdu media with an endowment fund of Rs 2.5 Lakhs.

Raja Bankatlalji, true to his character, spontaneously donated the amount and obtained approval to start the college with intermediate sections in English medium. Thus, a beginning was made to promote quality education by Late Bankatlalji, to perpetuate the memory of his father Seth Gopikishan and Grand-father Seth Ghasiram Badruka

The year 2006 is being celebrated as the Birth Centenary of this great visionary. The Badruka group of educational institutions rededicate themselves to the vision of Sri Bankatlal Badruka.
