- INCEPTION
AND GROWTH :
The Badruka College
Post-graduate center was setup in 1984 with
the primary objective of promoting management education and
research.

COURSES
:
BCPGC offers Post-graduate courses in Business Administration
(MBA), Commerce (M.Com), besides skill oriented PG Diploma courses
in Taxation and Management of International Business, all affiliated
to Osmania University.
Admission to MBA
is on merit basis through the Integrated Common Entrance test
(ICET) conducted around April/May every year. The intake of
MBA is 60 students. 25% of the seats, filled through Management
quota, are purely on merit basis at the test conducted by BCPGC.
Badruka is one
of the preferred affiliated colleges. The two-year MBA programme
is structured into 4 semesters of course work, practical training
and a project. The course has the approval of All India Council
for Technical Education (AICTE).
Admission
to M.Com is on merit basis through the Common Entrance Examination
conducted by OU. The intake is 40 seats.
Both
the Diploma courses are specially intended for working executives.
In
2003,
BCPGC is ranked 21st and 47th by Business Today and Outlook
respectively. In 2004 Business Today ranked BCPGC among India's
top 50 B-schools.
- INFRASTRUCTURE
:
- Library : The Library at Badruka College Postgraduate
Center is designed to meet the needs of both the Management and
the Commerce students. It has over 6,500 books and subscribes
4 International and 7 National Journals.
- Computer Lab
:The computer lab has Local Area
Network (LAN) bridged with windows 2000 server, along with rich
collection of licensed software. The institution has Internet
connection to keep pace with the fast changing technology trends.
- Audio-Visual
Room : To enhance the quality of Lectures,
Seminars and other academic exercises and to break the monotony
of classroom sessions, the PG center has a good Audio-Visual setup,
complete with OHP, Slide projectors, Movie projectors, LCD and
VCR along with a vast collection of Videocassettes for the use
of both the faculty and the students.
- RANKING
:
- Business India Magazine dated 17th October 2010 has rated Badruka College P.G. Centre A+.
- In the WEEK-MaRS survey conducted by ‘THE WEEK’ magazine dated 17th October 2010, Badruka College P.G. Centre was given an all India rank of 120.
- In a survey conducted by ‘The New Indian Express’ on South India’s B-School rankings, Badruka College P.G. Centre was ranked 8th within Andhra Pradesh and 49th in South India in the newspaper dated 13th December 2010.
- STUDENT ACTIVITIES

Induction Programme Envision 2010 :
A successful start leads to a successful end’. The fresh batch of MBA 2010 -12 was started through a comprehensive Induction Program held on 11 October 2010 addressed by eminent speakers.
- Business Quiz :
As a regular practice the students of MBA III sem organized a Buziness Quiz for the students of MBA I sem on Oct 25th 2010.
- Guest Lecture :
On October 27th 2010, Mrs.V. Vijaya Lakshmi of ‘Veda Edutech’ addressed the students on the topic ‘Career Opportunities in Actuarial Science’.
- Business House Presentations :
As a regular practice, as part of our co-curricular activities, Business House presentations were organised for the MBA I sem students on November 8th 2010.
- Community Development :
Apart from loads of commitment in academic and cultural activities, our students show keen interest in community development also. On the occasion of Children’s Day on 13th November 2010, the students of MBA Ist sem served the 70 orphans ranging between 5 to 16 years of age of Siriya Orphanage in Vanasthalipuram, Hyderabad.
- Industrial Visit :
The students of MBA III Sem were taken to an industrial tour from December 21st to 25th 2010. They have visited Viskhapatnam Port Trust and Viskhapatnam Steel Plant.
- The 1st Student Parliament Council of Student Leaders, Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Pune (12th -14th JAN. 2011) :
Mr. Vaibhav Salunkhe and Mr.Amanjyoth Singh, students of MBA III Sem participated in the 1st Student Parliament Council 2011 held at Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Pune.
- Elocution Competition by Free Forum Enterprises :
The Free Forum Enterprises organized the 46th A.D.Shroff Memorial elocution competitions on 23rd November 2010.
- The 24th Mega Management and Cultural Meet –SPLASH 2011 was organized on 23rd and 24th March 2011.
- PLACEMENT AND CONSULTANCY DIVISION
:
BCPGC has an active placement division for the benefit of its students.

Apart from various student development programme college also focuses on enhancing the skills of faculty by encouraging them to make paper presentations and also make publications.
